strange shit habits
well, my birthday went extremely well i must say. Pretty much everyone came, and i'm pretty sure everyone had a good time too. It was really, really nice but a bit stressful for me i have to admit, merging different groups of friends together.
today my friend kristin who has been staying with me for 2 weeks is moving into her new place. It will be nice to have my house to myself again, but having her stay with me was actually pretty easy going. She's one of those people who thinks i've got it all together. It's strange. I have friends who i always seem to act neurotic around, and those with whom i always seem to have my head in order. i'm trying to blend it all together.
the place i work seems to be the downtown port-o-potty. this morning we were pleased to discover that someone had urinated AND taken a shit in the parking lot (which is delightfully enclosed to hold in maximum odour). then, closer to lunchtime, we started smelling the strong scent of piss at the front desk. seems someone had peed right up against the front doors last night and it had seeped under the door all over the rug and floor. hopefully someone will have mopped by the time i get back from lunch.
seriously, people. I can't help thinking it was some distinguished looking old british man who did it. or woman, i guess.
i wonder if any of my friends are closet floor shitters.
