Sweetie ... you are a creative (like me) and it's something you can't just turn on with a flip of a switch. If you try to create when your head and heart aren't into it, then the work won't reflect it.

That said, there are creative exercises that you can try to push you in the right direction. What you do shouldn't feel forced, because then it becomes a regular job (nothing wrong with that if that's how one is geared). Sure, those things pay the bills -- but does it make you feel rich inside? We artists are an odd lot.

Not a lot going on during the holidays for anyone but the Mauls, er, Malls ... try working on some other business aspect that needs your attention that won't make you feel like you are struggling with yourself. For instance, after you left -- I cleaned my studio! Put hooks on the walls for ALL my masks and hung them; reorganized all my trims and supplies -- something that's been needing to be done for a long time. Now they "smile" at me and I can actually contemplate where I want to go next with things.

I'm so happy you enjoyed your time with us last week! You know there's a room for you whenever you want. Ray and the kitties miss you, too! ;-)
