Should I start it? A fan community dedicated to "Vanishing Point"
I searched through Live Journal inside and out and found absolutely no communities dedicated to the 1971 movie Vanishing Point. I find this to be very disappointing, considering it has a considerable fan base.
I thought about running one. My idea would be that fan art and fan fics are both welcome, as well as fan commentaries on the movie.
Even though some may say it's only fair to also include the above media dedicated to the TV remake as well (the one starring Viggo Mortensen), though its fan base is smaller. What do you think? Sorry if I sound biased and opinionated, but nothing can compare to the original.
I will be posting a short drabble on the female hitch hiker (if you have the DVD, it's on the UK version) on my own LJ site pretty soon.
