I think that sums things up. The days of only relying on one guy to be my confidant, my rock, my trusting friend have finally reached their dusk.
Im in los angeles...and I have a wonderful guy who has really pulled himself together since we last spoke. he knows me so well and likewise. Sean is back in my life and it's like he's brand new...another
to...
The loose ends with old ex's that made him insecure and unable to be healthy in a relationship have been tied up and he's so confident and happy with himself that he's scored an amazing boyfriend and I'm legitimately happy for him. We're friends...we talk more often now. It's just a wonderful thing to let someone in at the right time and let a friendship grow.
And now...to tell the tale of Daelen. When I first visited 1523 McCadden, I needed a pen to fill out my application and holding deposit to secure the studio in my name while my application was reviewed. I noticed a cute guy with blond shaggy hair at the door. I asked him if he had a pen...I followed him to his car and we chatted about each other and it was cool...but he too was penless. So he invited me up to his place to get one and I declined and told him I'd just use the sharpie in my car.
I get to my car only to find a capless sharpie all dried up. I ran back to the apartment, rang his number, and said "Hey, can i take you up on that pen offer?" and he ran downstairs...shirtless, sweaty, board shorts JUST below the V...and handed me a pen. "Here," he said with a mischevious smile, "You can keep it..." (but his eyes said "bring it up later")
I never saw him again...I saw his car, but never him. So I stayed late at ET on Tuesday just by chance...later than usual...and caught I up with him as I was getting into the building. We chatted, and ...well, long story short - we're talking and we just spent 2 and a quarter hours on the phone this morning. I gotta say...that was unexpected. A guy ...an amazing guy, only 3 doors down.
Hmm.
