Stuff I watched this weekend
Iron Monkey 11/13 Tarantino brought this move over to us. Great action, not a new story line by any means, but well treated. A lot of fun.
Saved! 9/13 Fun and irreverent. A nice tongue firmly inserted in cheek look at white American Christian culture.
Live Free or Die Hard 10/13 Ol' Bruce can still deliver. Great action, good story line, likable characters. With the action they upped the ante in just the right doses so as to keep the suspension of disbelief alive until the end. The part where he took out the jet with the semi was a little much, but it was toward the end, and it was still kick-ass.
The Lives of Others 12/13 A great film. Gripping and touching. A very interesting look into the stazi and pre-Berlin Wall fallen Germany. Well written and well acted.
300 11/13 A great guy movie. Good story line, good acting, and a hell of a lot of blood. Great action, loads of machismo, and some interesting looking creatures.
