Poo post #1

It's official.  We now have a complete and functional bathroom upstairs.  Never mind the fact that the trim's not all installed.  Never mind the fact that there are about 7 different shades of white in here and that the toilet that I just installed looks almost bone when compared with the vibrantly white sink...that it is right next to.  Forget all of that and bask in the fact that I can poo post without going downstairs.  Or, more importantly, that my 8-months pregnant wife no longer has as many reasons to go downstairs.

In other news, I just got a little session on Thursday.  Not a big deal, but it's always nice to make a little smack doing what you really want to do.

We went camping this weekend at Mammoth Cave Nat'l Park, in KY.  Well, I should say this week as we went Sunday and got back today.  I learned a couple of things on this trip.  One: 3 year olds and 2+ hour cave tours should not be mixed.  Too many damn stairs.  Also, not all that interesting.  Perhaps we had a bad guide.  The coolest thing I saw was a bat flying in the cave.  wow.  Two:  I pretty much suck as a fisherman.  I always fancied myself a decent fisherman.  Well, I always caught fish when I went fishing with my step dad.  Turns out that he was a great fisherman and when I was with him, I had a great guide.  I can't even catch a fish in a damn pay lake!  3 hours in the hot hot sun and 2 types of bait later and not even a bite.  I've been trying to get the boy interested in fishing.  Well, in spite of my efforts, he is, which is good.  Maybe we can learn together how to do it.  Adriana had never been tent camping, or as I like to call it, real camping, before.  She really enjoyed it, which is great because I've always loved it, though I haven't gotten to do it much.  Aside from the aforementioned setbacks, we had a pretty good family trip there.
