Clocky!!
About a month ago, I messed up my hand (long story, the moral of which is: don't try to pick up a bed with two fingers, because nerve damage sucks and takes a long time to get better).
It hurts worst first thing in the morning, but I discovered, oddly, that sleeping on the futon sofa in the office (while it's in sofa mode) can help it not hurt as much. So I've been wandering back and forth between my bedroom and my office for sleep, which, since I don't have an alarm clock on both places, has resulted in being late a few times the last couple of weeks.
So I need a battery powered alarm clock I can carry around with me, that isn't crap. All the ones I saw at Fred Meyer were crap. And then I remembered Clocky. Which I've wanted since I first saw the prototype video on YouTube--but they used to be $70 and up. And now they're not!
I now have a Clocky of my own. I am pretty excited, which just goes to show you what a strange person I am.
