Police Rant
As you will no doubt remember, a few weeks ago I had an 'incident' with a shopping trolley. For those with a memory worse than mine, I hit a shopping trolley that had been thrown from a bridge onto a dual carriageway. I was doing 70mph at the time... I called the Police and was surprised to see an armed response unit a few minutes later...
Anyway... this lunchtime, I was talking Marley out for a walk and was on a redway on the home stretch of my trip, when some cunt fired an airgun at us... TWICE!!! Now, naturally, I reported it immediately to the Police (I even gave them a description of the guy I think did it... as some twat on a push bike came round the corner, looked up and down the redway, saw me looking at him and cycled back off the way he'd come from.) Anyway, that was 3 hours ago... the Police still haven't arrived yet... 1 hour ago, I called them to chase them up and was told that I was next on their 'to do list'... How FUCKING useless are they!?!
I mean, hit a trolley and an armed response unit turns up in minutes... actually GET SHOT AT and they're too fucking busy to investigate! I'm alarmed as to what otehr business is going on in Milton Keynes that is more urgent than some fuckwit taking pot shots at pedestrians with an air gun!?!?
