book 6: The Picture of Dorian Gray-Oscar Wilde. This is a great book with a dull chapter in the middle. The plot has been ripped off and spoofed so much that it's overfamiliar but there is plenty of witty dialogue and some beautiful descriptive writing.

I tried to go out on the pull last night but I neglected the fact that I don't know how to pull. I have no moves. I've got no game. I see in clubs that there are guys and girls who arrive separately and have never met and have no mutual friends to introduce them and then at the end of the night they leave together and I have no idea how this happens. I go to a club and I see attractive girls that I don't know and have never met and there is no one I can ask to introduce me so despite a strong desire to meet, talk to, kiss and/or go home with one of them, all the girls remain strangers to me and I go home alone. Or, to be fair, with my mates.
I don't know anywhere I can go to meet girls except clubs and I don't know how to meet girls in clubs. And I don't really have the money to keep going to clubs buying expensive drinks in the hope that one day it'll just click and I'll get the hang of it. So it looks like there wont be any new girls in my life any time soon and I'll have plenty more time for reading.
