I've received a txt (and I drop the e advisedly) on my older phone from a certain Sarah. Such an obvious scam is quite amusing. I have to ask (with wide-eyed innocence) which of you gave my number (if not my name) to your good friend Sarah in order that she could get 2 no me?

We are back from a fabulous holiday in France. I will need to apologise to Secondborn's teacher next term for enabling his dinosaur addiction.

I have good reason to suspect that asking to be pointed to important posts on others' LJs will be ineffective. Take it that I'm likely to skim and I'm likely to miss stuff.
