There will be a set fee paid per hour for the hours a member of staff provides cover, i.e. when available to make checks or attend to problems on site or remotely. This means that staff must remain within reasonable traveling distance of the site(s) concerned and be in a fit state to perform their duties and, if necessary, to travel to work. This fee includes a component to cover telephone use, use of computer hardware and electric costs. It will be paid in units of 1hr, with a minimum of 4hrs at the following rates.
Remuneration
Mon - Sun: £5.00 per hour
Bank Holidays: £7.00 per hour
Concessionary days £7.00 per hour
4. Checks & Remotely Managed Incidents
The fee for checks to be made remotely using a dial in modem service will be paid at an hourly rate with increments of 1/4 hr at the following rates. These rates will also apply in respect of any time spent attending to an incident remotely (i.e. avoiding the need to attend on-site)
Remuneration
Mon - Sat: 1½ times normal hourly pay rate
Sun: 2 times normal hourly pay rate
Bank Holidays: 3 times normal hourly pay rate
Concessionary days: 3 times normal hourly pay rate
5. Call Out
The fee for call out will be an hourly rate with a minimum of 3 hours, timed from the call out until the return home. It is payable when it is necessary to attend the site to rectify faults because the service provided has degraded to an unacceptable level.
