On Call work
The Gibbon is frequently called at 2am by his work when things go wrong. The coworkers of The Gibbon claim that their allowance scheme for on-call is lacking. Recent conversation with Senior Management(tm) ended with a request for anecdotal evidence, as senior management is not prepared to gather impartial evidence themselves.
So The Gibbon needs to know - do any of you answer calls from work outside of work hours? What do you get in return? When you work overtime, what rate are you paid at? Do you get extra for bank holidays?
