celebratory salmon signifying certification
Last Thursday I took the OS exam for A+ certification and passed. This now means that I have an A+ certification. This means that I am certified to fix computers. This means that I can put something on my resume that might get me more jobs, and in fact could get me a ~$42k permanent state position where I am working now. My boss wanted me to accidentally leave my qualification questionnaire answers on her desk (I left it on her chair with a post it saying "woops." She got a kick out of it). Or I could possibly get a similar position at the State Museum, if they get back to me about an interview next week.
Anyway, it was a good thing and it called for celebrating, so I grilled some salmon.
This is how you start a grill if you don't like your neighbors.

I only got to appreciate those grill marks for a few minutes. Good thing I was documenting it.

The salmon stuck a bit, but I was able to hide the imperfection under lemon slices. I always feel like a bad ass grilling salmon on charcoal. Propane is for wimps.
Anyway, it was a good thing and it called for celebrating, so I grilled some salmon.
