Florian left the City. He's been here for as long as I can remember. In some ways, I think he taught me how to relax, or at least be responsible in a different way than I'm used to. Maybe that's what being a big brother is like. It was a little weird at first, having both Florian and Ion around, but now they're both gone, and... I'll miss them both. Before I left, I told him I would come back. I'm glad I was able to keep that promise to someone, even if he wasn't here to see it.
Shing is gone, too. I remember when we went exploring without a map. That was pretty silly, wasn't it? I wish I knew more about the place he came from. We got along really well, and he's a good fighter, but I always wondered... It's none of my business.
I'll see them again, just like I know I'll see Vriska and Natalia and all my other friends who've left the City. I just wish I knew that I could see them outside of it.

If you come by the Hymns of Lorelei in a couple of days, I can show you around. Things always get a little hectic when the City fills up like this, so it's better if we wait.

[Luke looks considerably better than his last network appearance. He's had about a week of rest and a shower, and now he's ready to take on the world. It's better than a month straight of moping, right? He'd be inclined to do that, too, but living with Asch and Guy means that he doesn't have that opportunity anymore.
It's clear that recent events have worn on him, though. He rests his hand in his chin as he browses the network, his pink lemonade untouched.]
For anyone who knew them, Shing and Florian aren't in the City anymore.
[He runs a hand through his hair and straightens a bit.]
If people still have questions about what we found on the expedition, I'll try to answer them. We ended up coming home by going through a door. In the middle of the desert. It doesn't make any sense to me, either. We found lots of monsters out there, and at one point even the rocks tried to kill us... and that's about it. We saw some really amazing things, too-- some people said they saw a water dragon, and there were fish that flew and stuff like that.
I think the most important thing is that we left and came back without anyone getting seriously hurt. And... we found out that the barrier can be bypassed without harming the City.
Thanks to everyone who supported us, and of course, everyone who came along. It's not easy doing what we did. We managed to live with each other for three weeks and worked together on top of it. I... never really considered myself much of a leader, but you gave me a chance anyway. I'm thankful for that, too.
[He clears his throat.]
Apparently we have visitors again this weekend. I doubt there's anyone out there I know, but... ah, nevermind.
