Gile still hated the coolness that was going on between him and Buffy. He wasn't sure why she had such a hatred of him working with Faith. Of course, he knew that it wasn't just that, but it did seem to have a lot to do with it. So, he mostly stayed silent as the went to get Dawn and came back, although he did hug her when she jumped him. He had tried to not look at the bottom half of her at the moment. She probably felt bad enough about it right now.

When they got to Buffy's place, they helped Dawn down and, now, he had to get a good look at her. She definitely appeared to be more fitting with the centaur look. He knew that she had to be uncomfortable looking like that, though. He hoped that they would be able to change her back to normal as soon as possible.

He looked at Willow. "So, what sort of research have you done so far?" he asked her. He enjoyed seeing her again as well, although he wished it were under better circumstances.

Seeing Giles and Faith had been a surprise. Giles had gotten a happy squeal and a hug. Faith a shy smile and a wave hello. While some may still hold a grudge toward Faith, Willow couldn't do so and not call herself a hypocrite. After all, she knew all about being a murderer. But unlike Faith she had gotten tea, scones and a witches training instead of going to jail ( ... )

Faith felt like they've been in weirder situations. No. Really. Maybe... This was was pretty damn fucking weird, though. She didn't voice it, though. She really didn't think Dawn and, especially, Buffy would appreciate it. The only reason Faith could even joke about it in her head was because the Squirt looked to be healthy ( ... )

Buffy watched as Giles and Willow went to work on the research and spells to help fix Dawn. So, that left her to deal with Faith. And thankfully, Xander. Of course, she always had a bit of overprotectiveness in her whenever Faith was near her best friend. Sure, what transpired between the two happened years ago and she knew Xander was over it, but there were some things Buffy didn't forget ( ... )

Dawn stomped her hoof on the ground without thinking about it, and then, when she remembered that she had a hoof again, she felt like freaking out all over again. She really, really hated this? Had she mentioned that before? Also, she was never dating anyone ever again. She was seriously thinking about becoming a nun after this was fixed, if it could be fixed. Right now all she wanted to do was kick something in frustration, but that would remind her again that her lower half was horse and she didn't want that ( ... )

He looked over the two spells that Willow pointed out to him. "I think you're right," he said to her. While he might know more about the technical aspects of magic, he couldn't help but want to agree with her because he felt that she would more 'feel' what was right. Besides, it also looked like the closest spell that they could do together that might actually work ( ... )

It was with only half an ear that Willow was listening to what went on around her. The magic was calling to her. Now that Dawn had changed again she knew she'd been on the right track. She knew that this spell was the right spell. The spell on its own was very powerful and only a person with power could cast it. But she was the most powerful witch to ever exist in goddess knew how long ( ... )

Xander stood there, hands in pockets, glancing between the two Slayers. This actually was a dream he had a few years ago. Except they weren't standing up and, well, there were less clothes. But this was no time to play THAT little memory game. "Yeah, no beating up; they just hate Slayers. They keep it simple ( ... )

She unfolded her arms, trying to lower her defenses, which was always a difficult task when Faith was around. She didn't like that they were sort of even when it came to bad decisions. But, at least Buffy never killed anyone. So, she still had one-up on the other slayer. And if Faith brought up her recent foray into burglary, she was more than prepared to throw the murderer grenade ( ... )

"Well, just because I can't stop on you anymore doesn't mean I can't give you a massive horse kick in the gut!" Dawn snapped back at Buffy. She didn't mean to be testy right now, but god if she didn't hate this so freaking much right now. If she ever saw Kenny again, she was going to kill him, that was for damn sure. How DARE he think that he could just turn her into anything that he wished? What an ass. She had half a mind to hunt him down right now and give him a swift horse kick to his own tender parts ( ... )

"It wasn't a mere boy with a crush," Giles said to Willow. He could feel the magic in the air, and it had a dark taste to it. Right now he wanted to put his faith in Willow to think that, after the fiasco in Sunnydale, she had learned to control her magic and could occasionally use the darker spells that the line of work they were all in sometimes called for. He hoped so, anyway. It was all that he could do to hope that she could control it, after all ( ... )

Bitchy Dawn was bitchy. And whiny. And Willow not have been so caught up in the draw of the darker magic she would have cared, would have felt sympathy for the girl. She had before, trying to comfort and reassure Dawn where she could. But now the dark magic was calling and nothing, *nothing* was going to stop the red-head from tasting it again like she had so many years ago ( ... )

"Re-conning sounds good," Faith agreed, giving the other Slayer a nod. This should've been a really, REALLY bad idea. But Giles didn't seem too worried about it and frankly, Faith wanted to remain the bigger person and just go with the flow. It was how she rolled anyway. It just made things easier and not be such a resistant person, especially not to Buffy. "Always good to have another pair of eyes to spot what we mighta missed ( ... )

Dawn moved into the circle when Willow said that she could. Really, she just wanted to get this over with and be normal again. It really was one thing to just be big, but another thing completely to be a half-horse thing. At least when she was a giant she could still feel somewhat human and normal, but now she was feeling all monstrous-y and that just wasn't cool at all. If she had known that Willow was taking the large amounts of negative energy from her right now, well, she would have supplied happily. She had tons of it to go around right now ( ... )

Willow wouldn't have noticed her friends leaving at all. She wouldn't have. If it weren't for the lack of angry and sour emotional energy in the room. She frowned when she no longer could draw on that power, realizing that it was only her, Giles and whiny girl left. Heh. Whiny girl. Half horse. That was funny ( ... )
