Another post, woo hoo
Ok, so Kyle wound up quitting Ranger School.. then they talked him into not quitting and just recycling himself. And after about 4 days of being the Army's slave to dig ditches and clean whatever needed to be cleaned, he said "I don't care this much" and quit again. haha He'll be home this upcoming Thursday. Yes, he quit on Thur or Fri of last week and they will not let him come home yet. They still wont even let him use his phone or have any privileges other than sleeping more than 4 hours a night and eating more than 1 meal a day. Hey, free labor- who wouldn't want to stretch that for what it's worth??
He's talking to a guy on Monday about what will happen to him next. I have my fingers crossed he can get a desk job elsewhere USA (namely DC ... but we'll see) since the 82nd is extremely "hua" and Kyle's for one a little old to be buffeting his body every day. I have high hopes we will get sent somewhere else, but the reality is that we will probably stay at Fort Bragg .... seemingly forever. But I know that is not the case. I'll try to keep updates coming as I receive them.
