I got a call from Kyle !!
I am so excited !! I just got off the phone with Kyle. It has been 3 weeks since i last saw or talked to him. I miss him so much !! He says Ranger school is incredibly miserable, and I wont go into details here.. because it's Ranger School... and unless you want to go or know someone who is/has gone... its probably useless for me to ramble about that...
Anyway... He has not been recycled yet, thank goodness. But it seems like he is on his third strike and might if he screws something up majorly or fails one of the little tests/scenarios... Who knows, he'll call if he does- so I wont worry until I hear from him. So in this situation.. "no news is good news" fits perfectly.
I miss him so much, poor guy. Too miserable for words... Another 6 weeks ... another ... 6 weeks... It will work out.
And evidently, word has it that guys from the 82nd are deploying to Afghanistan this summer.. so.. let's hope he doesnt graduate just to leave me again ......... Not possible.. he has Airborne school to go to.. right?
