been a litle down lately
the hurry-up-and-wait nature of job applications has never been well-suited to my nature. however, a friend of mine has a gift card to amc cinemas and is threatening to take me to see a matinee ice age: the meltdown so i'm trying to be good and get several resumes out this morning.
don't actually remember the last time i saw a movie in a theater. i quite enjoyed the first ice age. in fact, that and wallace & grommit are about the only animated movies that didn't come from one of the heavy-hitter animation studios that i really liked a lot. and i've been hearing good response to the sequel.
we finally ran out of excuses and will hit the shakabrah java open mike tonight, barring flood, fire or metero impacts. sign-up is about seven so we're shooting to get there a little beforehand.
