I can only stay a minute... .
Hi. Here's what's going on with me.
1) I have more work than I thought to do within the next three weeks. OMG. I won't be here very much (or over on FB either, for that matter). But come May 22, I'll be back writing and commenting.
2) I took a math exam yesterday. Thanks to B's notes for me, and my hard work, I was able to answer 13 out of 16 questions. This is a lot better than I did the last time I took this test, where I could only come up with answers for 5 out of 16. I cried during the test, but that calmed me down enough to be able to carry on and finish. I walked out of there feeling much better about myself than I have felt in connection with any exam in a long time. Thank you to my math professor, as well, who suggested herself that I retake this exam.
I have another exam next Thursday. After that, it will be my final on May 21st. If I flunk the class, I'll just take it again. I have one more try available. I don't like the F I'll have on my transcript, but that's life. Some days, I am in a place of more acceptance of this than others, though. :/
3) In my philosophy class, I have to read another chapter in my textbook and answer the homework questions, write two more small papers, write my bibliography for my long paper, then write my outline for my long paper, THEN write my long paper. After that, I'll have to throw together a PowerPoint presentation. That's only 10 minurtes long. The long paper and my presentation are due on May 21st.
4) Friday, B and I will be celebrating our 30th anniversary. We will have lived together for thirty years!! That feel remarkable to me. When we began seeing each other a little less than 31 years ago, I thought, "I'll give this some time," but if it lasts 5 years, I'll be surprised." More fool me! I am happier and happier each day with B, too.
We've bought tickets to see The Avengers: Age of Ultron. After that, we'll go to a local Thai restaurant that we're really fond of for lunch.
