The praline thing went over really well today. The batch I made hardly make anything...like 10 pralines. By the time it got on the "market," I only had seven. One guy came in, tried one, and bought them all for $20. Ms. Gracie (the lady that works with my mom) said they were awesome. Maybe I should make them to sell when I get up.
16 DAYS!
I don't know what's going to happen with the hostel thing now. I done booked the shit without reading the fine print...I need an out of state ID card to check in...All I have is NYS ID card. So now, I don't know. I'm scrambling to get a Mississippi ID now before I leave...in almost two weeks...and I don't even have a social security card. You know what? This country needs to federalize state ID requirements. If this was New York, I could walk in and walk out with an ID. I have a freakin' New York State ID! Why can't I just come in and bring my proof of residency with that???
So, Az's friend Lance told him to give me his number, if I ever needed anything to call him. So he's going talk to him about possibly letting me stay at place a couple days until I get a job and place to live. So there's a pretty solid backup plan if I can't get a MS ID card.
