If you feel jerked around, underused and generally ignored at a job do you quit?

I'm getting all the signals and can't handle this anymore.

I want to quit
I might quit
Should I quit?

I'd QUIT french_kittie June 7 2006, 19:17:31 UTC
The $ you make isn't worth the emotional stress if you aren't happy at the end of the day. Sounds like you're overqualified and not appreciated. My advice would be to start firing off resumes pronto so you have a back up plan.

I would consider urinating on somebody's property before I would take the quitting step. If you do quit, I would still urinate on somebody's property.

It's not really one person who is making my job shitty (not that I know of atleast). But urinating is a good way to 'release' some 'piss'.....haha yeah

See, this is brilliant bloody advice. I concur!

Other than that, if you're really that unhappy Charlie, quit. You can still get a reference, and fly back to town. However, I'd suggest a good ol' frank discussion with the boss before deciding to leave or not.

Well, that's rather assy. Is the project manager your boss? If not, I'd raise the issue and make it known that you are indeed not going to be at class in the fall. That' some high quality BS.

But good choice. Fuck 'em if they don't give you the hours.

I'd make sure I have my next job lined up before quitting, methinks.
