(no subject)
well am a lot happier now, have relaxed and enjoying lack of school-ness muchly ^^
friday night i rented out dodgeball, because i was in the mood for comedy and there was nothing bloody good at blockbusters. i got kinda excited when i saw the garden state ad, but that was before i realised it wasnt out yet. *glares at blockbuster* (despite it not being there fault) so anyway, dodgeball was quite funny coz i was in that kind of mood, although some parts were genuinely good. considreing my extemely lame sense of humour that could be anything, but apart from that i reckon my taste in movies is quite good. only exception being the day i get calcium kid, which so far i have refrained myself from :D
and yesterday mum was like, lets go shopping u deserve a break. i know everyone's said it already, but parents are so nice during exams! like dad was bringing me home subway and cookies and it was so sweet and i really appreciated spending like $140 that wasn't mine (although i felt really guilty celebrating without knowing my marks, and then i was just like wat the heck, new clothes!) i am very easy to please. so anyway, i got three tops and a pair of jeans, it was so fun. and i ate bruschetta from the food hall with this really nice salad, and then u noe those italian fizzy drinks that come in the really cute round glass bottles? i bought one from aroma, they're like bitters, but nice. i've had the lime and rose ones before, so i thought i'd try the caramel/chocolate one. *gags repeatedly* wasn't for me... but later in the day when we were walking past java juice i got this mango thingy whatsit which was v nice. the guy was giving samples of this other fruit one, which was nice but i got a big glob thingy of something called echanacia (?dont know the spelling?) which put me off.....
so anyway i got a bargain, $15 dollar jeans!!! but they have this heart thing which i will pick out coz i dont like hearts. :P and then this gorgeous red knit jumper from myers (go the stocktake sale!) which i think is the best thing i own at the moment - its blood red (i havent had anything red in AGES) and a black top and a pink top from myers too. then this other v-neck from somewhere nearby. the miss shop labels are cool coz the tag is this ribbon in a bow and its cute. was sorely tempted to buy many pairs of sunnies, but it felt pointless as its winter now and i'm not into the whole lets wear sunnies coz i'm a surfie or just bcoz i can despite it being winter and there being minimal sun glare unless i'm at thredbo. yea well thats what i reckon anyway. speaking of snow i wish i could go skiing. or actually snowboarding, coz despite my total lack of coordination the instructors are better looking (out of the 3 i ever met anyway) even better would be to road trip around nz. i would love that. and go to the place in rotorua where u do fake skydiving (for those watching getaway) which didn't exist when i left the country. however i would have beaucoup de difficulties with the accent, i was flipping channels last friday and that kids show on channel 9 had some nz chick and i felt like punching her, why could she open her mouth a bit more? and i used to sound like that *shudders* but i used to hate the aussie accent when i was in nz. so, conclusion: both australian and new zealand accents suck, i think they sound horrible, but normal at the same time...
that went nice and longish, how unexpected. the weekend has been good so far, but missing u guys....will call round tomorrow....
