It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp

Arashi is cooped up in a conference room with a few other people, managers and publicists, discussing damage control. That none of the higher ups are around bodes well and yet, Arashi is silent, except for occasional words from Sho and some sounds of agreement from Jun. Kazunari and Masaki look so serious, as if nothing ( Read more... )

I'm glad you love this and you're a non-Arashi fan and all! :) I guess people just have different ways of responding to stressful stories, true or not. :)

The pictures! Those are freaking hilarious! There should be a rule that scandalous pictures should always, always be funny!

Thanks for reading. Your comments are much appreciated. :)

well to tell the truth the whole "scandal" is making me sit up and take note of arashi. i guess that's one good thing that comes out of it.

scandalous pictures should always, always be funny!

SO true. i'm cracking up just thinking of ohno's expression in them.

those pics just looked like a guy in his prime having his fun. nothing wrong with that.

I hope you find Arashi interesting. It's actually nice to be trapped in all the shining shimmering splendid world of rainbow gheiness. If you are interested in any Arashi material, tell me, I'd be glad to help you. :)

i'm cracking up just thinking of ohno's expression in them.

Me, too! Just imagining him in all his crosseyed glory is enough to cheer me up. I just hope I am not reminded of those damn pictures when I'm polite company, though.

Whatever it was that he did then, he looked like he was in a really happy place. :)

lol yeah i've heard about the glitter and the shimmers and the rainbows. i've never understood where it came from. but i really love the song arashi. what other arashi songs would you recommend?

crosseyed glory

lol yeah. and now i'll probably spend the entire psych lecture thinking about the photos. and i'd love to be in that happy place too. haha XDDD

I just noticed that I wrote I just hope I am not reminded of those damn pictures when I'm polite company, though. Sloppy. I meant IN polite company. Haha.

Ah, the rainbows came from some Arashi PVs, which I think started in the Kitto Daijoubu one! It's one of the best, craziest, most retarded PVs I've seen! The first time I saw it, I was thinking, "What the hell are these guys smoking? I want to have some." XDD

Song recommendations.. What type of songs do you like? I'll look for some you might find interesting.

I'd invite you to listen to these two songs by Ohno, though:
Rain
Song for Me

I hope you like them.

Seriously, although, there are some Arashi songs that I really love, and like most of their music based on principle, I'd say the PVs, the tv shows an the general dorkery are what made me love Arashi in the first place.

It would be much more fun if people can always find their own happy places. Maybe we'd have less wars, too. XD

i youtube-d kitto daijoubu. it was dorky, but cute in a weird way. the set was... i have no words. that rainbow. and the costumes. and the "dance" steps. man. general dorkery is right. lol

hmm i like songs that are happy and cute. and emo rock. i like emo rock. just no screaming.

i listened to the songs! can't honestly say that they're my faves right now, i kinda grow to like songs the more i listen to them, so check back on that again. but what i CAN tell you is that i like ohno's voice. he's good.

so true. what are the odds, though. oh well.

Me, too. It took me a while to like Amy Winehouse's songs, although I've loved her voice the first time I heard it. But songs by the Beatles, I love them by default. XD

but what i CAN tell you is that i like ohno's voice. he's good.YES. I wasn't very impressed with his voice the first time I heard it; I lean more towards "manlier" voices. But his voice grew on me, I guess. He's definitely no Hyde [L'arc en ciel], but he has his own distinct sound ( ... )

WHOA. this is E.P.I.C.

i'm still in the process of downloading the songs. :)))))

thanks for the recs. and i totally LOL-ed at the part about matsujun.

anyway i'm kinda liking "rain" more and more. XDDD

and one more thing. amy winehouse and beatles rock. if only AW would clean up her act. she's got an amazing voice. :(((

I did say it was long. XDDDD

Good. Have a great time listening to Arashi!

MatsuJun is not a good singer, he really isn't-- although he can sing backup [especially if the others are covering up his voice. SORRY JUN!], and sing with Ohno [as long as Ohno's is the only voice heard. SORRY JUN!]--but he sure is one hell of an entertainer. He's a good dancer, a promising young actor and Arashi's very own concert planner! He's an Arashi member, and I love him. ♥

Rain. It took me a while to like Rain. My first favorite solo from the One album was Nino's Himitsu but Rain held on to me and wouldn't let go. It's now the second most played song in my iPod. XD

Amy Winehouse. Maybe she and Ohno can share a puff or two. I'm really sad that she can't seem to get a grip on herself. Such a talented young woman, too. Her voice is made of pure magic ( ... )

his heart's gonna break if he sees this.

but you have no idea how loud and long i laughed at this. but wow he's their concert planner?! don't their managers do that or something? guess he isn't just a dork then

my fave song from arashi is still ARASHI. sorry i have no idea where to put the dots to separate them a;lkdjf;ak

AW. yeah. sometimes it's the most talented ones who go down the road of destruction. sad, but... guess you can't have everything in life.

like you said, beatles is loved by default. somehow the retro bands are those that hold on to music fans the longest. beatles, queen, air supply, frank sinatra, jackson 5... music today is nothing like what it was in the olden days.

i'm enjoying their music. they're happy. that's all i need. though my JE shuffle list is hella long thanks to tokio and kt and ( ... )

quacking duck on helium

ROTFLMAO. i just. i have no words. a;lkdfj

so he's basically the pioneer of the whole moving stage thing. good for him. but it's amazing that they get to give input like this, cuz idk i sorta though that artistes had to do whatever management tells them to.

so it's A-RA-SHI. tbh i fell for the song when koki sang it during the lips PV making. when i heard it i was like !!!! nice song!!!!! lol hopefully they will. (but wow TENTH anniversary?! amazing.)

Fame is a bitch

isn't it always? :(

ALL the albums and singles of arashi... WOW. i mean, your wallet's gonna feel a lot emptier. L'arc... is that the one with gackt? or hyde? sry but i don't really venture out of my fandom (KT) much. more like neverkinki kids... i've heard like ONE song of theirs. anniversary. i liked it. T&T not yet. but tokio! tokio is AMAJING. seriously. it's the first band whose music i could concentrate on without wondering about their looks or rumors or gossip or stuff. you can definitely ask me for recs, but i haven't really listened ( ... )

...raifu forebah? it wasn't exactly amusing, but looking at it and reading about him sounding like a quacking duck on helium was just a killer combination. IT STILL MAKES ME LAUGH. XDDDD

i have no idea what's the smapxsmap concept, but i'm glad to hear that they actually contribute some. songwriting's a given, but i didn't know that they had free reign over things like concerts. i recently heard that whoever is hosting shokura gets to produce it, as in planning/scripting the whole show. it's good that they are given the chance to do things their own way and not just follow instructions. :D

yes koki sang it. it was sorta like a mini jamming session with kame koki and nakamaru. they started with kinki kids' "anniversary" and then koki did a-ra-shi. it was effing cool and made me love them so, SO much.

link's here, if you're interested. XD
