I am so fucking tired of being taken advantage of, and being walked all over at work. Our morning hostess calls into work every fucking day, and no one ever says anything to her about it. I always get called to come in early and take care of things because she isn't there. Granted, I am head hostess, but this was happening even before that happened. Last Sunday, I called into work because I could hardly stand up without passing out, and they made me call people to get my shift covered, or come in. WHAT THE FUCK? No one else ever has to do that.
Tonight, Lindsay, our morning hostess, was scheduled to close because Kristen was going out of town and wouldn't be here to work. Lindsay calls in and says she can't work tonight, and doesn't even give an excuse. The manager just tells her, "Okay, no problem." Fortunetly, Kristen didn't go out of town, so she was able to work this morning, and also tonight, and now I get stuck closing. It's such bullshit. None of us should have to put up with that, but we do.
I fucking hate this job, and I am quitting as soon as we hire another hostess.
