Writer's Block: Wedding bells are ringing
What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
So I half signed on here to update, half to see if anyone else had done anything. I don't know why. I haven't told anyone that I updated recently. Just because I happened to remember about it, everyone else must have too? (and by "I happened to remember" I really mean "Chris reminded me") LJ is way different than it used to be. They have this thing called "Writer's Block" now. So if you can't think of anything to write, it helps you out. The first sentence is what it gave me. I thought it was a sign that I really should write something, since the last wedding I went to was today...
I've never been to a wedding on a Wednesday before. At first I thought it must be because they wanted to save some money on the venue, but it was obvious that they spared no expense elsewhere, so I don't really think that was the issue. (Completely different note...Jason is sleeping next to me and he just said this in his sleep..."I'm interested to see where exactly it is that we're going. Well I don't know whose recording it, or who we're recording with." Fuck yes! I always hear him talking in his sleep and by the next day I can never remember what he said. It is so sweet that I happened to be typing at the same time!) Anyway, it was at this place in Los Gatos called Nestldown. It is a really gorgeous site. I would LOVE to have my wedding there someday, but I am almost positive I couldn't afford it. The pictures on the website definitely don't do it justice. You can search google images for better ones. The bride graduated from SJSU with a music degree in 2001 so she had TONS of musicians there (I'm pretty sure there were more musicians than guests.). I got paid $75 to sing a song that I already knew. It was pretty awesome.
Chris is coming down tomorrow, so I am pretty excited about that. We are going to talk about camping stuff.
