(no subject)
Oh boy, the seizures are coming back! What sucks is I'm not talking about the serious complex partials, but the... well, I don't really know what they're called. All I know is they are brief yet lingering. They'll be so short no real head change is noticeable, yet I'll get that odd smell up my nose and feel lightheaded for hours afterward. My memory is starting to go again, simple words and whatnot. I am also finding myself stuck in activities and forgetting what I'm doing again. (The other day I went into the grocery store for 2 things and had to REALLY strain to remember what one of them was- toilet paper- even though I had been bitching all day about needing it!) Oh boy, here we go again!
What the hell is up with AHCCCS? Why is it that both a neuro AND an epileptologist can both say, "This is what she needs," only to have the system say no, all because of the damn price tag?! Yeah, it's expensive, but that's not my fault, the same way these life-interrupting seizures are not my fault. All I want to be somewhat normal, but I don't think that's ever going to happen.
Should I start considering surgery? It might work- but then again all of these denials for meds may be just the insurance company trying to make me go that route. Should I just up my Tegretol back to my original dose and fuck what the docs are saying? I'm on 200mg LESS than what I was on when I went to Phoenix- and if it wasn't working then, what the hell do they think is going on now?

That's it, I'm giving it 'till the end of this month, and if by then I'm still where I am now I am throwing a hissy fit the likes of which none of them have seen! (Docs, AHCCCS, all of them!)
It could be worse- I could be Kanye West! (Funny how I'd rather be a poor epileptic than a rich arrogant ass! lol)
