While certain events had me convinced that God
really is in my favor,
Ma Nature and old-school technology
decided to have a pow wow and ruin my life.
The cold front coming in tonight
stirred up a massive amount of amazing clouds
suitable for my GMO project.
Yet just as I was about to take a picture of a cumulo-congestus
I run out of film
AND
as I was rewinding my film
(by hand mind you)
my rewinder dial popped off
and I was unable to screw it back on to effectively
rewind the rest of my film.
The fact that I missed a cumulo-congestus cloud
isn't what makes me so mad.
Oh no...
it was the fact that just as I was leaving school at 4:45
the most AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL cumulonimbus cloud
landed itself smack dab in the middle of my field of vision.
It was so close, I felt I could reach out and pick off
the little puffy cells of puffy-ness.
The sun directly behind it was causing the edges
to reflect this blindingly white light.
Light rays out the wazoo.
And something I've never seen before:
"Shadow rays" that were coming from behind the cloud
going up and out?!?!
Black sheets of rain were falling
and as I was driving by a field I could see the whole thing.
It was as if Ma Nature put it there to tease me.
"Hahaha, you're camera broke... Yet here I am."
Well Ma, you can go suck it, k?
So I missed a smorgasboard of amazing photos today.
And that is why I am pissed.

End rant.
