Disclaimer: fully inspired by Joo Won's song of Three Little Words. I know it might be quite similar to one of story by skyhigh2824 but I'm not intended to copy her story. It's truly inspired by this song which somehow i really like
Siwon is eyeing a man that has just sat in front of him. The tall man is unconsciously pouting his lips while the smaller man in front of him starts eating his food.
“You’re not eating?” asked the small man when he realized Siwon hasn’t touched his food.
“Say it,” replied Siwon.
“Say what?” The smaller man frowns.
“C’mon. Say that three words.” The man in front of Siwon just shakes his head then continues eating his food.
“C’mon Yesung. What is so hard in saying that? I say those words to you every day, right? You don’t need to say it every day. Just once… this time, eoh?” Siwon pleaded to Yesung but the said man keeps on ignoring his request.
“What is so hard in saying those words?” said Siwon again.
Yesung sighs loudly then looks at his husband once again, the man whom he has married for almost three years.
“Haven’t I said it enough to you every day?” Yesung asked back.
“Never heard you said it,” replied Siwon shortly.
Yesung puts down his spoon then looks at Siwon deeply. A beautiful smile is carved in his calm face. “I prepare your breakfast every day, making you coffee, arranging your clothes, choosing your suit every day, waiting for you every time you have to come home late. Haven’t I confessed enough?”
“I need to hear the words, Yesung-ah. I want you to say it, out loud.” Siwon hold Yesung’s hand then squeezes it lightly. “I’m just afraid it’ll fade away one day. I’m just afraid it’ll gone if you never say it.”
“Look at my eyes and tell me if the feeling has gone. Can’t you tell it? All the feelings I have for you?” Siwon lets out a desperate sigh. He has tried to ask Yesung to say that ‘I love you’ words since days ago but somehow Yesung keeps on refusing to say those words.
It’s not a hard thing to do, right?
They have been married for years so it’ll be normal if Siwon worries about his spouse’s feeling. Siwon knows that Yesung is not a kind of person who will say his feeling out loud, the very opposite of Siwon who is more vocal about his feeling. Siwon can count how many times exactly Yesung has said those three magic words.
One, when Siwon confessed his feeling the very first time and Yesung replied. Second, right after Siwon proposed Yesung. Third, on the night after their wedding ceremony. Fourth, fifth, and sixth on their first, second, and third anniversary. Now, should Siwon wait until their fourth anniversary to hear Yesung saying it again?
“Why you suddenly want to hear that words? You never force me to do this kind of thing before?” Yesung said his mind out loud after few-minutes silence.
Siwon shrugs. “I just want to hear that. I miss the moment you say that words. It feels unfair, you know. I keep on saying it but you barely tell me about your feelings. It feels like I’m having one sided love here.”
Yesung laughs softly, making Siwon’s brows meet in confusion. “You’re funny, you know?”
“I’m serious about this, Yesung-ah.” Siwon put his serious face.
“What is so important about this, Siwon-ah? It’s just words.”
“It’s not simply words, Yesung-ah. Don’t you understand? It’s a confession, an assurance to me that you still have those feelings for me. An assurance for me that you will never leave me. Is it that hard, eoh?”
“Those texts that I have sent to you…. Those constant worries and nags every time you’re away from me. Isn’t that enough? Haven’t I showed enough for you? I have made the vow to you, to never leave you. Should it be enough?”
Siwon tugs his hair desperately. “Fine, do whatever you like!” answered Siwon coldly. He casts his head down and digs his food silently. Yesung shakes his head and smile. He doesn’t know his big man could act like a silly child like this.
Yesung suddenly stands up, walks passes the table then grabs Siwon hands, making the taller man stands up as well.
“What?” barked Siwon with sulking face. Yesung leans his face closer to Siwon then touch Siwon’s lips with his. Yesung kisses Siwon slowly, deeply, passionately, making sure the muscular man feels the love he has for him.
“I love you,” murmured Yesung softly when their lips finally parted. “Now, stop sulking.” Yesung then walks to his bedroom quickly, leaving Siwon who looks stunned for a few seconds before his brain finally processed what Yesung has said. The taller man smiles widely.
“I love you too, Yesung-ah!” shouted Siwon from their kitchen.
“Just shut up and finish your breakfast!” replied Yesung loudly from the bedroom.
