the price must be right
so i got an email from my cousin, deb, the other day. cousin deb is the cool interior designer who's kind of a big deal out in los angeles. what did cousin deb have to say for herself? oh, well she was sitting in on a meeting at cbs studios and could here the price is right going on in the background.
let me give you a little background on the price is right. i've been watching it ever since i can remember. back in the days of half-day kindergarten, i would sit on the floor in front of the tv and stare at bob barker and the plinko board while knoshing on a tuna fish sandwich. bob barker may not know it, but i've known him for a good 21 years.
what does all this have to do with anything? well, i figure i've got to get out there. it's now or never because bob retires in june and who knows when i'll see cousin deb again or get cool perks? so it's done. no nj this summer, i'm going west come may. i'm only going to live once, may as well see more than one ocean, right? and here's my shot at the showcase showdown. i could win a dodge neon or a lovely set of tennis gear.
