(no subject)
so everyone and their uncle has known that i had an 8 am final this morning. the last final of the semester...
due to this fog i've been in lately, i for some reason thought i would leave at my regular time and be there right on schedule.
it was 8:22 am when the "OH SHIT" went off in my head that i wasn't going to class at 9 like normal. i was already 22 minutes late for my exam. i went into "OH SHIT" mode and grabbed all my crap and ran for the car. got to the east deck and walked as fast as i humanly could towards the life sciences building. there were lots of people outside and i was really confused. i then grabbed the door and some guy was like "uh, theres a fire alarm."
well ok. so i took my final and its done with...i don't think i did very well, but it's over. i drove home feeling fried beyond recognition and as i pulled into the driveway i saw our new fake tree in the window. covered in white lights. being from new jersey, we are not a white light people. colored lights are the lights of choice. so just to add to the dog dying and us getting a fake tree for the first time; the new fake tree is covered in ugly white lights.
needless to say my happy meal that i grabbed on the way home didn't exactly cheer me up like i expected it to and now i'm left to unpack all of my crap that i brought home.
i wish i had never left athens. oy. what a start to this damn "vacation."
