(no subject)
this week has been crazy. not because i've been running around or super stressed. its just been quite the week.
i know this sounds lame to say, but one of my best friends passed away on friday. our family dog, brandi, died after living almost 15 years. i knew this was coming..everyone knew it was coming..but i found out i won't see her again today. the vet took care of it. she isn't coming home to be buried like i thought she would be. but she's not in pain anymore and that's what most important. nonetheless, it's hard to say goodbye to something you've known since you were six.
speaking of the ending of things..my parents told me this evening at dinner that they bought a fake tree. most people think i'm overreacting about this..but holy crap. a fake tree. how gross is that? yes. i have a problem with change (especially when a change revolves around a specific tradition). oy. what a holiday this is gonna be.
i think it's going to be an early night this evening.
