Foreigners.
I am appalled at the way foreigners get treated around here. Seriously.
On the way to the parking lot there was a korean woman pleading with some college guy. Passing by, I heard the woman say in korean, please help me find my daughter, sir, please I need to speak with her, it's urgent... and she also said an occasional english "help" while pointing to a print out of a college schedule for the fall semester. The guy responded with a "Fuck off, lady."
Obviously she didn't understand that, so she kept repeating herself (in korean) for help, but she sure as hell understood it when the guy shoved her away and started walking briskly to his car- and she started to cry.
What the fuck- couldn't that guy have at least taken her to C Building (the administrative building about two feet away from where they were talking) to help her?
Her husband had just passed away...
Anyway, I helped her out and told her to ignore the [severe expletives deleted] that did that to you just now. I think she would have scolded me for using that kind of language, young lady, had she not been smiling gratefully. It made me sad. English speakers here are as wretched as the lecherous construction workers from before.
