Yes, I'm finally posting! :o

Hello everyone!

I decided that since I actually have time today, that I REALLY should make a post. It's been a pathetically long time since I last did, so here we go.

Hmm...Well, I guess there's a lot to talk about since I haven't posted for so long, but it's hard to pick out which things to talk about. I'll start from now and work my way back. I've been so very sick for over a week now. Last Wednesday I had to stay up until 3:30 to finish my huge final lab project in bio, which I think precipitated it all. First I got sore throat glands, then my sinuses filled up with fluid on the weekend, then I got a really bad earache on Monday, then I started getting mild fevers, then two days ago I started getting an eye infection and tonsil infection. Luverly! I went to emerge on Monday night and waited 6 freaking hours to see a stupid doctor who wouldn't give me any meds and told me to go home and rest. I was freaking out because I kept getting worse and I had an exam on Thursday. Apparently the requirement for me to get antibiotics was to get sick for a few more days, because Student Health readily gave me two types yesterday. It kinda sucks that I had to write my first exam so sick, but luckily my Saturday exam is being postponed until the end of April. I'd actually rather write it tomorrow and get it over with, but I know that I wouldn't do very well. But anyways, I'm going home today, so hopefully I can get lots of good R&R there and home cooked food.

I can't believe I'm done my first year of university. o_O It went by so fast! I've decided to switch majors completely next year. Instead of staying in LifeSci, I'm transferring into Bio and Psych next year to do a double degree. I really like the human biology part of LifeSci, but I'm not a big fan of chemistry and I hate the fact that most people in the program are sooo anal about marks and extremely competitive. I absolutely loved biology and esp. psychology this year, and they were my best classes, so I figure, follow the path of least resistance! I'm also pretty sure I'm not going to end up going into medicine, which is a huge career path change for me. I thought about it, and I really don't want to work 29 hour shifts and 65 hours a week and to never see my family. My clinical psychology prof really inspired me (he was awesome!) and I think I may head in that direction.

Hmm..what else? There have been some wicked parties here..lots o' fun. And I can't WAIT to go to myrtle beach! It's going to be soooo awesome. I will definitely need that relaxation after all of these damn exams are finished. Anyways, good luck to everyone on their exams, yay Britt for Sheridan and computer, and I can't wait to see you all soon! Bye for now.
