Pah, using school as your only source of education is pathetic. School is hardly an objective education (especially in the Seattle area where most people are extremely liberal. Let's not even go into how biased college classes are). One may have a long portfolio of AP classes with honors on a particular subject, but they can also know nothing if they have not learned both arguments. Am I saying that school is unnecessary? Not in the very least, but I also do not believe that school should be your only source of education.

And Brian's (binarypunsisher) points on John Kerry's positions still hold significant ground. So far, I have yet to hear a decent case that John Kerry is not a flip-flopper.

"Yes, I would have voted for the authority. I believe it's the right authority for a president to have. But I would have used that authority as I have said throughout this campaign, effectively."

Now contrast that to his September 29th remark. The reason why your friends need not copy and paste Bush's quotes to understand his opinion is because he is consistent. Meanwhile, Kerry's rhetoric, and I dare say, opinion on issues is malleable.
