It would be insupportable to drive three hours to Tucson to see MSI when I'm really only interested in them because of Lyn-Z, wouldn't it? Yeah, it would. Damn.
In other news, my son is utterly addicted to the "The City is at War" video, and it makes me gloat about influencing his musical taste. Also, got Weezer tickets for the family, so he'll be getting concert experience young. (He's already been to Weird Al, which was awesome but doesn't give bragging rights to most people.)
Okay, so I knew that Mikey Way pirated movies for extra money when he was young, since that shows up in fic a fair amount. But I just saw the interview before they played MSG, and Gerard said the movies Mikey was bootlegging were Song of the South and The Black Cauldron, and I squealed. For true. My son's middle name is Taran, and it's all because of The Black Cauldron. And I read (which I'm sure everyone in the whole world already knew) that Bob worked at Disney World in college. I cannot even tell you how happy that makes me. I've been trying to calculate when he would have been there and if it could possibly be during the time that I was there. It's so dumb to be excited at the possibility that we might have been working in the same complex of theme parks at the same time, along with 40,000 other people, but, well ... I'm dumb and excited.
