Pieces of Eight...

1. I love jokes, and assume that others love them as much as I do- this is how I end up offending so many people...I think.
2. Once, I was bitten on the hand by a fluffy white Persian cat. It had very sharp teeth and it bit down to the bone, and now there's two little round scars on each side of my left hand. This happened the day before my band was scheduled to do our first paying gig and at the time I was playing rhythm guitar and singing, and my hand was swollen/infected/practically unusable, resulting in some butchered playing, and me with my hand in the drink cooler between songs.
3. I like pickles of all sorts. Spicy, sweet, sour, etc. Pickled okra, pickled jalapenos, pickled onions. Anything except pickled pigs feet.
4. Recently, I found out that I was won by my boyfriend in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Apparently, when we met, he and one of his friends couldn't decide which one of them should ask me to dance and so they valiantly battled for the right to win my hand. Oh, the chivalry.
*rolls eyes*
5. Ventriloquism usually weirds me out, but I saw Jeff Dunham in Amarillo, and it was really funny. Though my seats were far enough away for me not be in range of the puppet, should it come alive and start terrorizing the audience.
6. The very first concert I went to, my brother and I went down to the floor and we were standing at the edge of the mosh pit. He leaves to go to the bathroom, and when he comes back, he says to me, 'Dude, Jesus just offered me a reefer.' He pointed at this guy near the floor gate, with longish blonde hair, wearing a white tunic-type shirt, baggy pants and sandals, just smoking away. We cracked up, and when I looked again, the guy was gone. We call this our 'religious experience'...
7. I hate driving and avoid it as much as possible. Easily done, as the POS has a short in the electrical system and won't start.
8. Right now, the dog and I are working on another chapter for the WIP, and he has offered to proofread my Jumble fic when I finish it...
I don't think I should trust his criticism. He spends alot of time eating snobby music magazines.
