Self-made Kanji Cards

May 25, 2007 23:22

Hey there!~ <333

Although I´ve already posted this question in japanese and learn_japanese, I thought it might be a good idea to spam my f-list and get on your nerves to ask my friends here as well ^-^

So the thing is: I want to make Kanji cards on my on and print them out.
It´s really a LOT of work and as you all know I don´t have any time right now.
But perhaps I´ll manage to print out a Din A4 paper every week (with the format I have now that would be 9 cards) ... way to go!! (^^;) .....
(btw. if anyone knows a complete and good package of kanji cards to download somewhere or s.th. like that, TELL MEEEE!!!!!!! XDDD .... I haven´t found anything good yet *sigh*)

Now .. before I print them out I want to ask you what "should" be on the cards!?!
What might be useful, what unnecessary?

What I have so far is:

front: the kanji with stroke order plus the number it has in my kanji dic, so that I can look it up quickly if needed

back: Kun/On-yomi like this:
NICHI day, (Japan)
JITSU
hi sun, day
-ka

plus some examples how the kanji is used / composita:

日々 ひび Tage, täglich
日時 にちじ Uhrzeit

(sorry was too lazy to translate into English XD)

So ... that´s all so far.
What more would be useful?
Radicals??
I don´t want the cards to get TOO filled up with stuff!! (^^;)

Thanks a lot in advance :)

P.S.: How´s the weather where you live right now? It´s soooooooooooooooooooooooo abnormal lately, isn´t it???
It´s sooo hot in Germany right now! I really feel like I´m in Italy or Spain or s.th. like that (o_o;) ......

That´s all (^^;) ....
