[Anime / Manga]: Naruto Shippuden - The End

So, I took the advice of some of you and just tried to relax for a while, ignoring everything else.
As I'm preparing my huge SALES entries, I thought I could re-read some of my old manga before I sell them. I started out with Mars (a shojo manga) cuz I couldn't remember anything about it.
Then I re-read Kizuna because I knew how much I loved it. Then, I was suddenly soaked into the BL universe again and re-watched Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and Junjo Romantica which I used to love .... and THEN I even read the manga!! T_T ...
Thanks to recommendations on Twitter, I also got into Love Stage.
To get away from all the super sweet and hot BL love, I figured that it's FINALLY time to finish reading "Basara". I was such a huge fan about 11 years ago, but there were no scanlations of newer chapters and my Japanese wasn't good enough back then. I decided to wait, but as you all know I lost interest in anime / manga and so it never happened.
I finally read all of it and it was so awesome!!
Anyway, ..... then I was looking around and saw I still had some old Naruto and Bleach episodes floating around. I went for Naruto, clicked on the first video and noticed it's a filler episode. -__-
I remember why I stopped back then. ^^;; .....
I can't remember when I stopped watching Naruto, but it must have been shortly after I wrote this LJ entry - a tribute to Sasuke and Itachi.
And that was in 2009!!!!!!!!!

So, I think I watched as far as Jiraya's death.
Like I said, I clicked one video and it was a filler episode. I just ignored those and went right to the next "canon" episode. And man, ever since then I couldn't stop anymore.
When did Naurto become so good??? I couldn't stop watching! ;___; (I went from somewhere epi 150-ish all the way to 393!!!!! O__O ...)
And I'm so glad I came back to this series, because so many awesome things happened and I got to see so many things I never thought I would!

The battle against Pain was beyond awesome. I think I cried the whole time!
First of all, I was surprised that they would let Kakashi die. I thought he was one of the main characters ... but then again already so many people died, so ..... (= my first thoughts).
When Hinata was ready to die and confessed to Naruto I completely bursted into tears. I don't care about her so much but from that scene onwards it was CRAZY!!!
I had completely lost it when Naruto met his father for the first time!
I don't know why, but I immediately became a HUGE Minato fan - and I still am! (*_*) ....
And ever since then it's like a reflex... whenever I see Minato and Naruto together, I cry! ^^;; ... AAAH! So stupid. *headdesk*
The battle was beautifully solved. Everybody came back to life (cheaters) ..... and when suddenly everybody accepted Naruto and celebrated him as a hero, that was such a wonderful moment.
Then hell breaks out .... at first I found Bee super annoying, but he's such an awesome character. Naruto's big brother .. kind of! ^^;
I completely gave up on Sasuke. Yeah, I'm horrible ... but when he tried to kill everyone even his former Team 7 members and when words couldn't reach him at ALL ... I just got annoyed to no end. Can't even believe that he used to be my favorite character. ^^;; ...
When Naruto met his mother for the first time ... that was another extremely emotional moment. It's also the first time we all get to know the whole true story.
And again, .... Minato is soooooooooooooooo awesome!!! (*___*)b ...
The whole war arc is insane. So brutal .... also mentally. Stupid Edo Tensei ... but on the other hand, it's also awesome.
Edo Itachi is such a hero. I love Itachi! ;__; ..... I feel so sorry for him. He's such a tragic hero.
I know that what he did was not good, but ... oh the tragic hero .....
And I think it was absolutely necessary that Sasuke met him one more time.
Here's the first thing I never thought I'd ever see: Sasuke and Itachi fighting together!!!!! (*___*) ......
Itachi's final words to Sasuke were so heartbreaking. ;__; .....
I just was glad not to see an Edo Jiraya or Edo Minato. I would have freaked out.
But then ... suddenly stupid Oro is back. WTF?? And they edo tensei'd all Hokage, including Minato??? ;__;
Minato meeting Oro and Sasuke ... was not really what I wished for.
But I was captured by the story of Hashirama and Madara and fogort about Minato for a moment.
When I noticed that they would rush to the battlefield and Minato would to get to see his son ... like for real ... I lost it again. ^^;;; ....
As you can see I'm not very good writing about how I felt when I watched all those scenes. It's still "too fresh", I guess. So it's all a bit random and out of order. I apologize. ^^;
Moving on, now the awesome 4 Hokage are at the battlefield as well.
AND Team 7 is finally complete again. I never ever, really NEVER imagined I would see that again!
Still very suspicious of Sasuke I just can't help but find the following scene goosebumps-worthy:
You know ... I'm not only a Minato and Kushina fan .... I love the previous generation in general! Minato's team with Rin, Obito and Kakashi as well ....
So, when I found out that the guy I hated to much was actually Obito ..... I don't know ... it was just awesome. Can't even describe it. Masterpiece! Psychologically well done!
It's such a tragic story and Obito just chose the wrong path in his life. Kakashi also had to suffer a lot. Oh, how things could have turned out instead ......
Seeing Naruto fighting alongside his dad is one of the best moments ever, far cooler than Team 7 being reunited.
The latest episode ends with both, Naruto and Sasuke about to die ...............
..... and I just couldn't wait. I COULDN'T!
So, I read the manga ..... which already ended last month.
If you haven't read the end of Naruto yet, DON'T read any further:
It's interesting that's exactly HERE when things are getting bad ... like plot-wise. They just should have let Madara be the ultimate enemy and do something about him. The whole Kaguya and sun and moon and blah shit is so ...... blah!
I really couldn't care less. I guess Kishi wanted to have a situation where Sasuke and Naruto HAVE to work as a team in order to defeat the enemy and also the Uchiha symbol as partly moon and partly sun and shit .... but still he could have gone a different road.
I very well understand that after 700 chapters (and 71?? manga volumes) he must have been veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery exhausted .... but I just wish he could have created a better end .... and just like everybody else I agree that the end was way too rushed.
The only good thing about Kaguya was this scene! This was like the BEST JUTSU EVER!!!!!!!! XDDDD
Anyway, putting that aside .. I think we all knew that the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke had to come at some point ..... I'm quite excited to see the animated version of it, to be honest.
I'm still very biased about the end. I guess I'm thinking too much about it.
I know that he couldn't kill Naruto as it's the name of the series. And killing Sasuke would just have been a repetition of the past. Hashirama killed his friend Madara and look where this got us ...................
So, either both die ..... but do you think anybody would have agreed to that? Or none does.
I also am not convinced .... Sasuke was so damn annoying and walked way too deep into the "darkness". He was so stubborn that even I gave up on him. And with a not even "giving-it-my-all" fight and a lot of "Talk no Jutsu", he suddenly changes his mind? Really? Just cut off my arm and I'll change?
I'm still sorting out my feelings towards this whole situation, but I wasn't happy that both lost their arms. I know it shows how much Naruto cares about his friend and that he would give literally everything (even his right arm) for his friend, but I think Naruto doesn't deserve this.
Maybe Sasuke should have killed Naruto and THEN finally come to his senses and either use Izanagi (is that possible?) or his Rinnegan to rescue Naruto ......
But then again I've read a lot of theories and opinions of Sasuke fans who say that Sasuke didn't get what he deserved. He had such a traumatic childhood, was brainwashed and mindfucked ..... but then again we got to know SO MANY other characters who have gone through similar bad pasts but chose a different way to cope with it. I remember that Sasuke shouts at Gaara, that Gaara can't understand him because Sasuke has gone through much worse. Foolish baby, wake up! You're NOT the only one, dammit!
I'm well aware of the fact that it's probably impossible to have a satisfactory ending in a series like this. I have no idea what I would have done.
I'm still suspicious of Sasuke. He still could become a second Madara one day.
I get that the Uchiha feel strong love, but if they lose it, they snap. Just imagine if he loses his best friend, his wife and daughter? I don't wanna see it. T_T ....
I know there have been a lot of discussions about the parings in the final chapter.
Seriously, I couldn't care less. It's not a shojo manga and that's also not the main theme of the series.
I was disappointed that we don't see what happens after the war. What kind of discussions are there .... how do they want to achieve peace? What is going on in Sasuke's head?
What about the Hebi group and Oro? And Kabuto? (Though I don't really care about them.)
Why was Madara's Edo Tensei so young? And why was he so young when he came back to life for real? Wasn't he 29384209348 years old when he eventually died?
I also feel utterly sad that Obito had to die. I dunno ..... really sad.
I'm also sad that Kakashi couldn't keep his friend's memento and now has no sharingan anymore. It's not Kakashi without a Sharingan! :(
I don't like the idea of Kakashi being Hokage. It doesn't suit him. I think it's great that they honor Obito's wish, though.
It's funny that I always imagined the future 5 Kage and I was almost 100% right about who those 5 future Kage would be! ^^;; Hehe~~
I HATE HATE HATE Naruto's new hairystyle!!! I know it's nothing important, but he doesn't look like Minato at all .... so sad! ;__; .....
I'm not going to say too much about the pairings or kids in chapter 700.
I do find SasuSaku strange, but then again it's almost the same as Vegeta and Bulma, so why not?
Knowing Sasuke I can imagine he's wandering around looking for other Uchihas. He wants to know if he's really the only one. Then, he finally realizes he's the only one, but wants to revive his clan, so he needs children. He already knows that Sakura loves him, so why not? XD
I know I'm cruel. LOL
Psychologically some characters are developed so well by Kishi. I'm still fascinated by Obito ... but also by Madara and Hashirama ..... Itachi is also fascinating. I gave up understanding Sasuke.
It's so sad how many people had to die in the war! I cried so much when Shika-daddy and Ino-daddy died. ;_____________; .... Not so much about Neji o___O;; ....
I'm amazed that the Tsuchikage is still alive in chapter 700. He must be 130 years old or so! XDDD
Oh, another thing I never imagined was to see Kurama (Kyuubi) team up with Naruto. Watching Bee and Hachibi I always thought it would be awesome if Naruto could get along with his "pet" as well. XD
I'm totally in love with all the fist-bumping shit!!! (*___*)b
And I'm not too concerned about chapter 700 because like I said I'm a huge fan of the previous generation and apart from Kakashi everyone is already dead anyway! ;_; R.I.P. Kushina, Minato, Obito and Rin. ;__; ......
There's "The Last Movie" which just came out this month in Japan. It's 2 years after the 4th great ninja war and shows how Naruto falls in love with Hinata. Kishi admits he's not good with stuff like that. He's a shonen mangaka anyway, I didn't expect he would! XD
I don't even think it's necessary, but it seems the fans want to see it.
And I want to see Sasuke! He looks so droolworthy with his Sharingan and Rinnegan! (*__*)b
Damn you, Uchihas! You're all freaking badass, but you still get all the women cuz of your looks!! XDDD They don't even have to use their Sharingan! XD
Even Madara was hot! AAAHHH!!!! *headdesk*
I'm not falling into that trap of yours Sasuke! Never again!!! *dies drooling*
Ahem. .... But I'm still totally into Minato. I can't say it often enough. Although he's absolutely NOT the type I would usually like. o___O;; .....
It's not even funny .... but it is!!! XDDDDDD
Last but not least, I noticed a pattern here:
I'm sure Kishi must have read Basara. There are so many similarities. There's war and people try to find a solution how to create a peaceful world. Two people who have a strong bond eventually fight each other until they figure out it's better to combine their strength to fight another enemy. And finally a main character loses an arm. Sounds familiar? -____-;;; ....
And the cold mass murderer ends up with the crazy female main character with a very unnatural hair color (Sakura x Sasuke = Bulma x Vegeta) XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
And who didn't think of Dragonball when they saw Bolt????????? C'mon!!!!
