Saturday sounds!
Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post. It really means a lot.
I'm not in a super bouncy online place today, but since I'm not in a do anything place at all, I figured I'd post anyway. (And if anyone has Spotify, could you tell me if the playlist's tracks show up? I've heard other people are having problems with public playlists.)
-To The End, My Chemical Romance. When I was editing a couple MCR stories, I was playing a lot of MCR. Who'd guess? "To The End" is one of my all-time favorite songs and has been for years; I also love the remix from the Underworld Evolution soundtrack. (My not-so-secret shame: I'm a huge Underworld fan in general. I'll be seeing the next one on my birthday.)
-(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understandin', Brendon Urie. Free download of this one! I'm not a huge Elvis Costello fan (or a fan at all, to be honest), but I love Brendon Urie's covers, and this is no exception.
-Magnetic, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. There was a point earlier in the week where I needed noise but pretty much everything made me want to claw my eardrums out: the music I love, white noise, soothing sounds, and so on. The Social Network score was the only thing that calmed me down. It worked really well topically with the story I edited, it's high-energy in places without being exhausting, and it's soothing without putting me to sleep. I can't wait for the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo score (even if I'm not sure I'll see the movie) (who am I kidding, I probably will).
