I'm bringin' the fire, so call me Daenerys.

1. Political stuff. Still encouraging you to get in touch with your reps whenever possible. (Part of this is how it's not going to be possible for me this week, so. I get it.) I did manage to get a couple of low-spoon items done this weekend, though. They are:

a. Calling Speaker Ryan about keeping the Affordable Care Act intact. (ACA is Obamacare, by the way.) This is a good one if you don't want to/can't talk, although, if there's voicemail space available, you can leave a message.

b. Calling the Department of Justice to request an audit of the 2016 presidential election. You leave a message, and all you have to say is your name, that you're a citizen (I said "citizen living in [home state]" personally), and...that you request an audit of the 2016 presidential election.

So combine this with my initial phone call to my Representative/Senators and calling the House Oversight Committee for an audit of Trump's financials, and I'm getting pretty involved so far. I don't think I'll be able to call this week for a combination of health reasons and closed offices, and I already feel preemptively guilty, so I'm trying to show myself that, hey, you did four rounds of calls in a week. With intense social/phone anxiety.

(Part of my problem is that I have foggy brain and I'm having a hard time keeping up with the group efforts - my voice will mean more in conjunction with others, after all. I'll rest and jump in next week, unless something changes.)

2. Skyrim/Gilmore Guys is such a good thing in my life right now. Soon, I'll be able to do Skyrim/NEW GILMORE GIRLS. I need it.

3. I don't know why I forgot how dark this time of year is. I live in a pretty sunny place - I think the estimate is that there's 250 sunny days or so around here? - but most of the not-sunny days are late fall/winter, I would guess. Combine that with sunset around 5 pm (if not earlier, since the longest night isn't for another month still), that I've been staying awake until 3-4 am, and that I'm only outside for maybe twenty minutes in the light when it isn't overcast, and. Well. You get why it might be hard.
