It isn't often that a news article forces me to re-evaluate the plot of an ongoing fic, but the recent news on a new protease inhibitor for Hepatitis C treatment having an 80% cure rate... is taking a lot of the doom out of The Bullet Catch.

- Last two weeks of the semester, and I can write some fic at last. Stupid school. Oddly fine arts classes are friendlier to fic than non-studio classes. There's lots of intensive work, sure, but there's also spaces of time in between clay/paint/wood glue drying that allow me to tap away at fic. I had a Pulitzer Prize winning playwright teaching at Yale tell me that when I'm done with my BFA she expects to see me apply to the technical theater MFA program at Yale.
