A few things

- I've managed to COMPLETELY strain my left shoulder badly enough that I can't lift my arm above my head. (I can hardly even lift it high enough to eat.) Of course I'm left handed so this is EXTREMELY fun. Just try to wash your hair or cut something without your dominant hand. I don't even know how I did it except that Ginny has pulled hard enough ( Read more... )

Sorry about shoulder injury! Ah, puppies. My rambunctious German Shepherd pupply pulled me down the stairs once when I was ten. I was a bit stunned and not hurt. She was totally contrite poor thing and licking me. Aww. They don't mean it!

I hope you feel better. You kind of need your arm! If you were up for it, I'd recommend some acupuncture just for some pain relief while you heal.

The Hobbit is a trilogy? I think that's a bit much.

I'm sure the execs had just a little input. Just a tiny bit.
Ya think? ;-) It just makes me want to wait for the DVD set after the first one, though! Because that will be even longer!

She doesn't mean it but my shoulder doesn't know that. *g* Perhaps I will try some acupuncture (though I have some big issues with needles even if they aren't hurting me) but first I'm going to the doctor today to get a better idea of what is wrong.

Yeah, it doesn't need to be a trilogy unless they are going for a money grab.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your shoulder. Are you using a retractable leash for Ginny? Hope you heal soon!

Meant to comment on The Hobbit. How on earth could they stretch that into a trilogy??

Just a regular leash so she can't get a BIG amount of speed but obviously enough. Thanks!

I have no idea. I know they are adding in all the Galdalf scenes for when he was off dealing with Sauron but that makes it enough for two movies not three. We shall see if it works!

Dog-walker's shoulder - owwww. Hope it improves soon. I've had the same injury, and it did seem to disappear over night.

Is it sad that when I read the bit about The Hobbit trilogy my first thought was "Aidan Turner will be tied up for years. As a dwarf."

I grew up in the Midwest, and I miss cardinals, and chickadees.

Can't wait for the Red Handed picspam; it really was a beautiful episode, if heart-wrenching, and Red is one of my favorites ♥

Unfortunately mine has gotten worse so it's off to the doctor for me today.

At least he's a hot dwarf? Also most of all three movies has been filmed already so we're not talking a huge additional commitment.

Red is awesome. I'm so happy they made her a regular for season 2 - I do hope they have plans to give her some focus during the season.

Thank you for the healing energy. I could use some. *sigh* We'll see what the doctor says I've done to it. I hope rest and good pain drugs are all I need.

I managed to sprain both shoulders (at separate times) during the course of a few months. One was a fall on ice, the other who knows? I just woke up in pain & went to the doctor and there was a sprain. It is such a hassle, so I hope you feel better soon.

I've never had a sprained shoulder before and it's not fun! I feel great sympathy for your past shoulder issues. And I am doing better now, thank you.
