A few things

- I've managed to COMPLETELY strain my left shoulder badly enough that I can't lift my arm above my head. (I can hardly even lift it high enough to eat.) Of course I'm left handed so this is EXTREMELY fun. Just try to wash your hair or cut something without your dominant hand. I don't even know how I did it except that Ginny has pulled hard enough on the leash a few times to wrench my arm - and I guess that was enough. *ouch* On the plus side she is finally getting the idea about walking on a leash, though I don't think I'll take her out again myself for a few days. If I'm not feeling better tomorrow I think a trip to the doctor is in order.

- We are getting Black Capped Chickadees at our birdfeeder now. They are very cheeky little birds who are happy to get a few seeds even when we are all out having dinner on the deck. They are also my favorite birds so I'm happy to see them! I haven't managed to get a picture yet but I will post when I do.

- Another bird story: a family of Cardinals was fledging last week and one of the babies ended up in the middle of the street here (it's a dead end so we don't get much traffic) with the mom chirping at her. We herded her onto the lawn again because not much traffic doesn't mean no traffic and I hope she was okay from there. She was so CUTE and FLUFFY!

- Today I watched Red Handed for my OUAT picspam and it was definitely harder to watch the second time through. I could see the end coming and I kept wanting to skip past it. *sniff* It was still just as excellent though. This is going to be a very PRETTY picspam with all the red and white in it. :)

- The Hobbit is officially a trilogy now. I'm not sure how I feel about this! I can see enough story (especially with the appendixes) for two movies but I wonder if three movies will end feeling dull and stretched...like butter scraped over too much bread. Heh. I know Jackson said he looked at the film he had and decided based on that but I'm sure the execs had just a little input. Just a tiny bit.
