Day 11 - A show that disappointed you
(full list) Another easy answer for me today. Other shows have disappointed me causing me to change the channel and stop watching. In fact there are a lot of shows that I've shut off after a couple of years since the show was no longer the one that I had started watching in the first place or just that the premise had gotten tired long before it went off the air.
However, there is only one show that I LOVED and adored and watched right to the end that completely let me down. To the point that I have trouble remembering just how much I loved it before. To the point that I couldn't get into the spin off, no matter how good/interesting it is.
That show is Battlestar Galactica. The longer I live with the ending, the less that I'm okay with it. I just found it so unsatisfying. And not just the finale, but the whole back half of season 4 seemed as though the writers really had no idea how to wrap things up and write tight, well-plotted scripts anymore, never mind consistent characterization. I hope that with time I can come to terms with the finale and rediscover my love for the show (and there was a lot to love even in the last episodes), but it's going to take a while.
