Of those on the list, I've only seen Big Bang Theory. I find it to be not the greatest of shows but always a bit fun. I'm looking forward to the next season of it.
I love Spooks. It never seems to get as much love as it deserves. It's unrelentingly intense and dramatic, but it is so well made. It's like the british version of 24. The episode with Hugh Laurie was my favorite. The whole MI5-MI6 "Big sister, little sister" made me laugh. Love seeing Hugh with his original accent.
I'm glad you're finally watching TBBT! For me the show was great from the word go, but didn't settle in until the episode Penny has to spend the night with boys (can't remember what ep it is) and Sheldon is put off because he can't watch Doctor Who. After that I was sold.
Spooks. OMG, that last episode...guh. I'm like you had those two been killed I would have probably stopped watching. I only got it because I love the actor who plays Tom Quinn, so I had the first two seasons bought and was able to plunk in S2 right then on the spot. I need to get back to watching it again. Now that Richard Armitage is in it (with tattoos!) and they've had a steady line of hot men...I mean great storylines.
I haven't seen that one yet! Maybe we'll get disc two with the next netflix. Why can't he watch Doctor Who? I think Penny would like it (especially the Ten episodes *g*).
I'm looking forward to Armitage. But I have a few more seasons to get through first. Meanwhile, Tom is pretty and I'm sure that the next one will be too after he leaves.
I love the Closer. And the grudging respect that Brenda Lee and Mary McDonnell's character are developing. Now I've wondering what will happen with Brenda's neice staying with her for the summer. Tricky mother of hers!
I am very much enjoying the chemistry between the two characters. The only thing better than one strong female character is two. And instead of going the 'they hate each other - cat fight' route, they seem to be going for detente and I approve.

Doesn't Rupert Henry Jones come into play after S2? (I have no clue, I haven't finished all of S2 yet, got distracted)
