Fic Recs: Doctor Who, BTVS/Torchwood, AtS
In between going nuts trying to get everything ready today, I did a bit of fic reading. All one-shots or at least can be read without reading any other stories in the series. We have two Doctor Who, one Torchwood/BTVS crossover, and one AtS story. All of these made me laugh and brightened up my day a bit.
The Gift Of The Mad Guy by sam-storyteller (Doctor Who, PG)
Summary: The Doctor joins some Kings of Orient following a star, helps a quartet of sociologists, gets thrown in prison, meets shepherds (ditto: talking sheep), finds a baby in a stable, uses Christmas carols for nefarious ends, and learns The True Meaning Of Camel.

Spike Vs Santa Claus: the Rematch by shapinglight (AtS, PG-13)
Summary: AtS season 5, between Harm's Way, where Spike chickened out of going to Buffy, and Soul Purpose where he met Lindsey in the bar and was given a 'mission.' A sequel to The Night Before Christmas
