I am so glad I multitask
As many of you know (and are in the same boat...) I have been CRAZY, stay up til 2 a.m.-when-bedtime-is-11, eating-while-standing, can't-sleep-cause-too-much-to-do busy lately. But, yes! The end is in sight! A week today and I'm back to the regularily scheduled chloe.
Friday I ... what did I do Friday? Oh yes, worked on the TOKink program!
Saturday I woke up early to go to the Kinky Craft Fair with blackorchid1, _solamnus and pie. It was good! I even bought stuff! Now in my arsenal I have a purple riding crop, a clear plasticey paddee that hurts like a bitch, two ... wooden things I don't know what to call but feel good, and a new collar and some cute magnets. Pie dropped Sol and I off at littleminx's house, and I stayed for a couple hours. We watched Big Love episode 4 http://www.hbo.com/biglove/?ntrack_para1=leftnav_category0_show1 which I'm totally getting addicted to. It's about this polygamous Mormon family in Utah. Its different. Then I went home and stayed up way past my bedtime to finish the program. It looks great :) It's all done now, just waiting on feedback and changes when I show it to the rest of the committee at the Pre-Con meeting Tuesday.
Sunday I went to Chinatown at Broadview and Gerrard for some vegtables. It seemed like a good idea, but the people I encountered were really... well, asses. So I sold out and went to Loblaws.
Got home, tweaked the program and started work on the Name Badges. I had real problems, first with PhotoShop, then with trying to set the background image minxy suggested to work with the mail merge I set up. I finally gave up somewhat and went to bed... At which time I had an ephinany and now everything is okay!
My grandparents came over for dinner (hence the vegtable buying). I made a stirfry which turned out okay. The brought me flowers, amazing cake, two bottles of wine (one of which is still unopened!), a cute pink hairbrush and lip balm they got at the Homeshow in Aurora and a little Chinese dress thing for the wine. Adorable. During dinner, one of the elements in my stove blew (quite the fireworks I tell you!) Papa took a look at the stove after and found the fuse box... The element is gone, but I just need to replace a fuse for the oven to work. Yay! He even installed my new shower head. Thanks, Papa! Oh... and they saw I was just sleeping on the futon 'cause my bed won't fit down, so they're going to buy me a new one! Mmmm.
Today is work. Tonight I have a series of events planned. After work, I'm hopping on the subway to check the TOKink mail, then meeting Asyrol at Davisville station to pay for my Good Food box, then heading over to littleminx's house to drop off a CD with the program on it for blackorchid1 to print. *breathes* THEN... I'm going home to hopefully finish the name badges, work on my workshop (which I've been procrastinating) and hopefully get some sleep!
Aside from all the work tho...
I am sooooooooo excited for TOKink! Totally excited! The workshops are going to be awesome!
Maybe I'll even get to play at the parties... Anyone need someone to a) tie up, b) tie them up, c) stick needles in, or d) just be generally nasty to?!?!
