wanted to see pictures of my quilts, so I thought I'd start with the first one I ever made. This heart quilt is my own design, and it has between 300 and 400 pieces in it.
This was designed for my father when I tried to make a fleece blanket for him, but I couldn't find a pattern or panel that I thought he'd like. Somewhere around cutting out the 250th piece, I swore I would never make a quilt again.
6 years later or so, I'm still doing it.
I would like to point out that quilting is one possible definition for insanity:
you take large pieces of fabric and cut them into smaller pieces of fabric so that you can sew them together again into large pieces of fabric
