I finished my residual voter homework this morning and trundled on over to my polling place around 1pm, filled-in sample ballot in hand. No line, in and out. Pretty uneventful...although I noticed that unlike elections past, my hands were shaking and my heart rate was up. I felt vulnerable and scared to make eye contact with anyone. I have no emotional backup plan in place if Obama does not win, if Propositions 4 and 8 pass. I am definitely in denial and kind of a sub-surface wreck. chreebomb, The Spawn, and I will be watching the results later with some of my rowdy yoga friends. Here is hoping. Big time.
