Well, I think it's finally happened...
I'm kinda over Facebook.
*pause for gasps of shock and cries of outrage*
Don't get me wrong, it's still fun to go on and check and stuff, but lately (as in the past week or so) every time I get on, I think, "Oh, man, I have to go check this game and see if it's my turn" or "Damn, how many people sent me plants in the past 12 hours?" - it's almost always like work, not fun. And, granted, part of it could be that I'm working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week. (okay, Saturday, I only worked 9 hours, but saying that just ruins the rhythym) So maybe anything that's not watching tv or reading - and some of reading, too, which is weird - is too much? I mean, I'm also supposed to be filling out my application to BHGH, v2.0: The One That Will Get Me HIRED. You know, as opposed to the other one.
Anyway, back on point, all I'm saying is that I'm not as enamored of Facebook as I once was. I no longer ponder funny/witty status messages to leave people, and I only change them about once a week mainly because after a week, you become status-less, and there's something about that that just freaks me out a little. Which could be a post for another day, but whatever.
I mean, MySpace went the way of the caveman for me months ago, but then again, it doesn't have all the fun things that Facebook does, so I'm not that surprised. Maybe Facebook and I are just going through some hard time, and need some time apart, so we can truly appreciate each other again. Of course, it's not like I'm going to stop logging onto Facebook, so I'm not sure how that would work....hmmm. I must think on this.
So...yeah. Maybe I should just cut down on my Facebook applications and then I won't have 80 things I have to look at. But then I have to choose what to get rid of, and I'm a pack rat...even electronically, which I was assured wasn't possible.
Okay, that was pretty good for a random post, right? I liked it. :-)
p.s. you know they don't have disillusioned on here as a mood? That makes me sad. - at least now I have a mood to put in, I guess.
